Hearing Health Seminars

Lunch and Learn

These opportunities are for the general public to come, listen and question the presenters about specific questions that they may have about a given topic. They are Free and offered about 3 to 4 times per year. They may be presented by one or both of our on staff Audiologist, our hearing aid specialist, or from a manufacture whose product we carry. There have been occasions when we will have several manufacture representatives present at the same time. This is not done to tout how much better their product is but rather their product is different and or better for some people than others. The Lunch and Learns are often held at a local hotel, and the meal is professionally catered by a food catering company.

Seminars are held more often and they are held in our office. We simply turn the chairs around and our waiting room becomes a small classroom whereby a speaker can use the wall as a screen for power-point presentations, or slides. Further, we tend to do the presentations by having one of the on-staff specialists speak about topics that interest you most about hearing and hearing disorders. The seminars are usually about 1 hour in length and we offer light refreshments. Topics such as: Tinnitus, and what can be done about tinnitus? How to shop for a hearing aid? Getting the most from your present hearing aid. These seminars are free and open to the public. If you have a question, and think we should do a presentation on that topic; drop us a line at our e-mail address: [email protected]
